Lead generation for
metal and glass.

A bid board sends the same invite to everyone in range. Landing pages and lead magnets go after the work that never reaches the board.

Low-bid boards

PlanHub and The Blue Book list you beside every sub in range. Price becomes the only difference.

Short bid list

You know a handful of estimators. When one changes jobs, your invites go with them.

No direct work

Property managers, architects and owners need glass and rails with no GC involved. They aren’t on a bid board looking for you.

Beyond bid boards

A week of requests at a sample shop. The boards stay with the estimator. The pages bring in the work that never reaches them.

Example, Corvane Glass & Metal, a sample glass and metal shop, one week of leads. A shared lead, Tenant improvement, Lot 4: 3 others reach it first and priced in is 46h. Went to the low number. Corvane’s was the fourth price in. A lead from its own page, Broken storefront, Harbor Row: priced in 2h 12m. No bid list. A property manager asked Corvane. Priced the same day, awarded with no GC in between. The week before, Three logins and a shop email: 14 requests, priced in 39h 9m on average, 5 no bid, 2 awarded, cost per awarded job $330. The week after, One queue for direct work: 18 requests, priced in 11h 7m on average, 2 no bid, 5 awarded, cost per awarded job $200. Fourteen subs on the sample job above. Boards stay with the estimator. Direct requests sorted.

Monday, 11am A job on the board, fourteen subs on it. Price is the only difference.

  6. Instant alert: The phone buzzes as the form lands. Priced in 2h 12m.

What you get

  • Landing pages by job: tenant improvements, storefront repair, railing retrofits, fabrication RFQs
  • Lead magnets a buyer keeps: a glass spec checklist, a railing questions sheet, a prequal packet
  • Forms that tell you the moment someone fills them in
  • Your ProView and Thomasnet listings pointed at the right page
  • Every lead sorted: GC, owner, property manager, homeowner
  • Bid boards stay with your estimator. This adds to them

The cycle

Lead generation is the paid-for half of Lead. New names go to the responder, and every one stays in your CRM.

  1. Lead

Everything that gets you a lead.

More people find you and reach out.

  2. Prospect

    Turn interest into a sale.

More of them say yes, and you never chase.

  3. Client

    Keep the job moving.

Jobs run on time, with less of you managing them.

  4. Kept or closed

    What happens after the job.

Finished work brings in the next job.

  5. Growth

Feed it back into the machine.

Every finished job helps bring the next lead.

Then it starts again.

CRM: Customers, conversations, bookings, jobs and employee tasks in one place, across all five.

The outcome

Less Work

Leads arrive sorted, so nobody retypes a form.

Less Time

Less time on bids you were never going to win.

More Sales

More work that doesn’t start at the lowest number.

Your questions

How do I get on a GC’s bid list?

Fill out each GC’s prequalification form, keep your profiles current on the platforms that GC uses and have insurance, bonding and safety papers ready. Then follow up after every bid, win or lose.

How to Get on Construction Bid Lists as a Sub

How do I find fabrication work?

Three ways in: a bid board for work already out to bid, search for owners and property managers who need it before anyone bids, and the GCs and customers you have already delivered for. The last one costs the least.

How do BuildingConnected, PlanHub and The Blue Book differ?

BuildingConnected is mostly private invites from GCs. PlanHub is an open marketplace you browse by area. The Blue Book is a directory where GCs search your trade and invite from your ProView.

Should I go after public work?

Only if your office can carry it. Prevailing wage changes your labor number, and weekly certified payroll is real paperwork. If you’re set up for it, it deserves its own landing page.
