Steel fabrication
website.

An engineer sourcing a part checks a few fab shop sites. One lists press brake tonnage, laser bed size and the welding codes it works to. The rest show a welder and a phone number.

No equipment list

Buyers sort shops by what they can run: laser bed, press brake tonnage, max plate thickness. A site without the equipment list gets skipped before anyone calls.

Friday-inbox drawings

Drawings are too big for the contact form, so buyers email them to an address somebody checks on Fridays.

Framed welding codes

Your welders qualify to AWS D1.1 and the shop may be AISC certified, but the proof hangs framed in the office, not on the site.

Equipment list

An engineer sourcing a bracket checks what a sample fab shop can run, then sends the drawing. Before the rebuild and after it.

Rebuilt site: the equipment list shows, on the shop’s own page, after 0.8 seconds, 256 KB, largest paint 1.3s, tap reply 140ms, layout shift 0.04.

  2. Stuck: They tap Capabilities, and a 2015 brochure downloads. The form takes no file.
  3. Rebuild: Same shop. The equipment comes out of the PDF, and the upload goes up top.
  4. After: Press brake, laser and plate limits on the first screen.
  5. Received: The STEP file lands, and Nora has it with the quantity.

The cycle

The website is where Lead lands for a fab shop: every search, listing and referral ends on a page that takes a drawing and starts a quote.

  1. Lead

Everything that gets you a lead.

More people find you and reach out.

  2. Prospect

    Turn interest into a sale.

More of them say yes, and you never chase.

  3. Client

    Keep the job moving.

Jobs run on time, with less of you managing them.

  4. Kept or closed

    What happens after the job.

Finished work brings in the next job.

  5. Growth

Feed it back into the machine.

Every finished job helps bring the next lead.

Then it starts again.

CRM: Customers, conversations, bookings, jobs and employee tasks in one place, across all five.

What we build

The website

A site that shows capabilities, materials and tolerances, with an RFQ form that takes drawings.

SEO

Capability and material pages that come up when buyers search custom fabrication near me.

AEO

Answers on materials, tolerances and lead times that AI tools quote to a buyer.

Lead generation

An RFQ page that takes drawings, with a capabilities sheet to download.

Social posts

Parts and projects you shipped, posted on LinkedIn where buyers look.

AI agents

An AI agent checks each RFQ for material, quantity and due date before it reaches you.

Missed calls

A missed call from a buyer gets a text back and a call back from the shop.

Booking

RFQ reviews and shop visits book into the estimator’s calendar.

The dashboard

Every RFQ with its drawings on one dashboard, by due date.

Reviews and referrals

After each order ships, buyers get asked for a review and who else buys parts.

Email campaigns

Past buyers hear about new capabilities and open shop time.

PostHog analytics

PostHog shows which capability pages buyers read before they send an RFQ.

Session replay

Session replay shows the buyer who tried to upload a drawing and gave up.

Monthly numbers

Each month you see RFQs in, quotes sent and orders won.

Every RFQ reaches one dashboard, and JobBOSS² stays.

What we build

The plan

Less Work

RFQs come in through one form with the files attached.

Less Time

Buyers check your equipment and limits without a call.

More Sales

Fewer engineers leave for a marketplace because your site answered first.

Your questions

Is a steel fabrication website template enough?

A template gives you pages to fill. What a buyer needs is what goes in them: your equipment, materials, limits, finishes and an RFQ form that takes drawings. Most shops never get to it, so we write and run it for you.

Can buyers upload CAD files on a fab shop website?

Yes. The RFQ form takes STEP, DXF, DWG and PDF files and sends them to your estimator with the quantity and the due date.
